Vice President of Operations for Daily Provisions
Dino Lavorini is the Vice President of Operations for Daily Provisions, in which capacity he oversees all aspects of the Daily Provisions’ brand, including operations, talent development, and growth. Dino joined Union Square Hospitality Group in 2004 as an opening Maître d's at The Modern. He worked his way up from Maître d' to General Manager before assuming the role of Director of Operations. During Dino’s time at Art Food, The Modern received three stars from the New York Times, four James Beard Foundation Awards, and two Michelin Stars. As a Senior Director of Operations for Union Square Hospitality Group, he oversaw operations at The Modern, Gramercy Tavern, and Union Square Cafe.
Prior to joining the team at The Modern, Dino received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He spent two years in Italy, attending the Apicius Cooking School on a scholarship from the James Beard Foundation, as well as working in restaurants, honing his Italian language skills, and teaching English to business professionals in Florence. Dino earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from Penn State, and he is a native of Butler, Pennsylvania.
